Kinesiology is a therapy in which the imbalances caused by past experiences and emotions stored in your subconscious, are recognised and released. It is a combination of eastern energy healing and western physiological healing science and has been around, in its various forms, since the early 1900's (Krebs & O'Neill McGowan, 2014).
Using muscle bio-feedback, information is relayed from the brain via the nervous system. This information uncovers imbalances within your body's physical, mental, spiritual and emotional systems and also guides corrections needed to realign these imbalances.
The process of realignment, unblocking and correcting can take many forms and can include sound therapy, acupressure, energy balancing, stress diffusion and affirmations.
Kinesiology is a complementary therapy and as such, can be utilised alongside other therapies being undertaken. It is non invasive, with clients remaining fully clothed and able to move about during the session if needed. All ages can benefit from Kinesiology sessions, from infants through to the elderly.
